Terms of Service
The terms and conditions governing your use of our website and engagement of our services.
Last Updated: March 9, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or engaging Casa Bella Exteriors, LLC for any services. These Terms govern your access to and use of our website and your relationship with us as a service customer. For any questions, please contact us at casabellaroofing@gmail.com.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website at casabellagroup.com or engaging Casa Bella Exteriors, LLC ("Casa Bella," "we," "us," or "our") for any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors to our website and to all customers who enter into a contract for services with Casa Bella. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed project contract, the signed contract will govern.
2. Services Provided
Casa Bella Exteriors, LLC provides residential and commercial roofing, exterior remodeling, and interior remodeling services primarily in Fairfield County, Connecticut and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Roof installation, replacement, repair, and emergency tarping
- Flat and low-slope roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, Dec-Tec)
- Siding installation and repair
- Gutter systems and installation
- Window and door installation
- Interior remodeling including kitchens, bathrooms, and basement finishing
All work is performed by licensed and insured professionals. Casa Bella holds Connecticut Home Improvement Contractor License #.0665664.
3. Estimates & Quotes
Free inspections and estimates are provided at no obligation. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise noted in writing. Estimates are based on the scope of work as described at the time of inspection and are subject to change if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project (e.g., hidden structural damage, code upgrades required by local building authorities).
A project does not commence until a written contract has been signed by both parties and any required deposit has been received. Verbal agreements are not binding.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms for each project will be specified in your signed contract. In general:
- A deposit (typically 30–50% of the contract price) is required before work begins to secure scheduling and materials
- Progress payments may be required for larger projects at defined milestones
- Final payment is due upon substantial completion of the work
- Accepted payment methods include check, bank transfer, and major credit cards (processing fees may apply)
Unpaid balances past the due date are subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually) on the outstanding amount. Casa Bella reserves the right to suspend or terminate work on a project with an outstanding overdue balance.
5. Project Scheduling & Delays
We strive to meet all scheduled project start and completion dates. However, certain factors may cause delays beyond our control, including:
- Adverse weather conditions that are unsafe for work or that could compromise installation quality
- Material shortages, manufacturer backorders, or supply chain disruptions
- Change orders requested by the customer that require additional planning or materials
- Permit approval delays from local building departments
- Discovery of unforeseen site conditions requiring additional remediation
Casa Bella will communicate scheduling changes promptly. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside of our reasonable control.
6. Change Orders
Any changes to the scope of work after a contract has been signed must be documented in a written change order, signed by both parties, before additional work is performed. Change orders may affect the project price, timeline, and warranty terms.
Verbal instructions to modify the scope of work are not binding and will not be honored without a corresponding written change order.
7. Warranties
Casa Bella provides workmanship warranties on all completed projects. Specific warranty terms vary by service type and will be outlined in your signed contract. In addition to our workmanship warranty:
- GAF-certified roofing installations may qualify for enhanced manufacturer warranties of up to 50 years on materials and up to 25 years on workmanship (subject to product selection and registration)
- Owens Corning-certified installations may qualify for extended system warranties
- Dec-Tec flat roofing systems carry manufacturer warranties specific to the products installed
Warranties are voided by unauthorized modifications, improper maintenance, damage caused by Acts of God (including extreme weather events beyond normal design parameters), or failure to pay outstanding invoices. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to casabellaroofing@gmail.com.
8. Customer Responsibilities
To facilitate a successful project, customers agree to:
- Provide reasonable access to the property and work areas during agreed-upon working hours
- Remove or protect personal property, vehicles, and landscaping in areas adjacent to the work zone
- Disclose any known conditions that may affect the work (e.g., existing roof leaks, structural concerns, hazardous materials)
- Secure pets and ensure children are kept away from work areas during active construction
- Obtain any required homeowner association (HOA) approvals prior to the start of work
- Make timely payments in accordance with the agreed payment schedule
9. Permits & Code Compliance
Casa Bella will obtain all required building permits for the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Permit fees are typically included in the project estimate. Any additional costs resulting from local code upgrades required at the time of permit application will be presented to the customer as a change order prior to proceeding.
All work is performed in compliance with applicable Connecticut building codes and manufacturer installation requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
Casa Bella Exteriors, LLC carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance as required by Connecticut law. In the event of damage caused by our work, our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the damaged property up to the value of the contracted work.
Casa Bella is not liable for:
- Pre-existing conditions, defects, or damage present before work commenced
- Consequential, incidental, or indirect damages (including but not limited to lost income, additional living expenses, or loss of use)
- Damage caused by Acts of God, including wind, hail, flooding, or other extreme weather events after project completion
- Damage resulting from customer-directed modifications or the work of other contractors
11. Cancellation Policy
Either party may cancel a signed contract with written notice. If a customer cancels after work has commenced:
- The customer is responsible for the cost of all labor and materials installed to date, plus a reasonable restocking fee for materials ordered but not yet installed
- Any deposit amounts may be applied toward these costs; any surplus will be refunded
- If the cancellation is due to a material breach by Casa Bella, the customer's liability is limited to the fair value of work completed

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any disputes arising from our services are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Before initiating any legal action, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes through direct negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties may agree to mediation as a preferred alternative to litigation.
